“Another world is not only possible, she’s on the way.

On a quiet day, if you listen very carefully you can hear her breathe.

DAVID ATTENBOROUGH, BROADCASTER, NATURALIST

“The fact is that no species has ever had such wholesale control over everything on earth, living or dead, as we now have. That lays upon us, whether we like it or not, an awesome responsibility. In our hands now lies not only our own future, but that of all other living creatures with whom we share the earth.”
~ DAVID ATTENBOROUGH, BROADCASTER, NATURALIST

“My study of the wild gorilla is not yet finished, and even when it is complete, it will contribute only a small part toward man’s understanding of his closest animal relatives, the great apes. But one conclusion is already clear: The gorilla is one of the most maligned animals in the world.”

~ DIAN FOSSEY, SCIENTIST, ACTIVIST, AUTHOR

WANGARI MAATHAI, NOBEL PRIZE WINNER, ACTIVIST

“Education, if it means anything, should not take people away from the land, but instill in them even more respect for it, because educated people are in a position to understand what is being lost. The future of the planet concerns all of us, and all of us should do what we can to protect it. As I told the foresters, and the women, you don’t need a diploma to plant a tree.”

~ WANGARI MAATHAI, NOBEL PRIZE WINNER, ACTIVIST

STEVE IRWIN, BROADCASTER, ACTIVIST

“We don’t own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife. If we save our wild places, we will ultimately save ourselves.”

~ STEVE IRWIN, BROADCASTER, ACTIVIST

About Me

Hi, I’m Palm Oil Detective’s Editor in Chief. Palm Oil Detectives is partly a consumer website about palm oil in products and partly an online community for writers, artists and musicians to showcase their work and express their love for endangered species. I have a strong voice for creatures great and small threatened by deforestation. With our collective power we can shift the greed of the retail industry and influence big palm oil to stop cutting down forests. Be bold! Be courageous! Join me and stand up for the animals with your art and your supermarket choices!

Let’s hang out
